Reply to "All things Jupiter?"

By the mid-80's they were accurate enough and took readings "out of the hand." The guns used in the 60's and 70's differed. For example, the Jugs read out of hand and Decatur guns read somewhere between mid-point and out of the hand. The radar used to measure Ryan's 101 picked up the ball about 30' out of the hand.
