Reply to "Another "McCarver-ism""

The other day he was using all these fancy words to describe players, trying to sound really smart, like an english professor or something. He was talking about how the pitcher's pitches were so "discombotulated" or something like that. As that even a real word?
When Matt Morris was pitching a few days ago, in the 2nd or 3rd he was saying that Morris hasn't thrown his curve yet to anyone when he threw 3 or 4 in the first inning. He'll also tell you that a fastball that bounces in the dirt was "a nasty splitter, the bottom really fell out of that one", or that his slider was a "hanging curveball that didn't drop", thrown at 82 MPH, 8 MPH slower that his fastball. That's a pretty hard thrown curveball, and those 55' fastballs are tough to lay off!
