Interesting that DryMyField merged with Rain Out and now they are one company making the same thing. I'm just curious what is in the bucket? I'm assuming it is sodium polyacrylate. That is the chemical that is found in diapers that absorbs about 300 times it's weight in water. I can't imagine what else they'd add to it....so why not get some sodium polyacrylate for about $10 a pound and use it? it's obviously safe enought to put next to a baby's bottom, so it isn't dangerous. I hate to interfere with their marketing, but I'd be curious to get some S.P. and try it...
If rain out is indeed made of sodium polyacrylate, I'm indebted to you TCB1! As you said, it's only about $10 per lb. and sold as "paint hardener" to make the disposal of paint easier and safer. A pretty good value when you compare to $25 per pound when sold for baseball fields! Thanks for the info.
