Here are my thoughts;

When he breaks his hands he actually pushes them away from his body(toward third), by doing that he then swings his arm way back behind his body, therefore exposing his grip and tipping his pitch.

Personally I like to see the hands breaks down and back and a little earlier. The arm slot should go back a little more and not whip toward first as much, in looking at it frame by frame, it looks like he is lifting the ball, palm up.
