My son did not get the opportunities to be seen in his varsity team or summer league, so we have been playing catch up!
He has gone to several camps and a showcase plus he has emailed and sent out resemes to many different schools. I finally stepped in and had him actually apply to his 5 favorite ones. He does very well in his grades and I felt that he would probably go DIII if at all. One of his "five" has shown interest, but why miss the money if nothing comes through. We have not gotten the "calls" that everyone else has gotten and I don't know if they will ever come.
I know it is a different way of looking at things but my son is going to college either way and I would rather not pay an arm and a leg for it!
