I am retired RN due to illness. When I attended it was difficult to get in and very competitive but nurses were in demand.

I was a single mom so went the junior college route at Sac city which is an excellent program. I then went to Sacramento state few years back and finished my BS.

Lots of good programs. Get in even to a JC because it's easier to go rn to BSN .

Check out some of the private schools and programs.
