Justbaseball, I've been her for years and I still don't know what linear is. Did someone make that up or is that where the bat hits the pitcher instead of going around the batter's body?

I also would like an expert to define the difference between a combine and a showcase. Also what's the difference between a scouting service and a recruiting service.???
