Reply to "Baseball factory"

My son did the cheapest tryout.  It was nice to get measurables and see how he stacked up.  He later did some other events, all in AZ, because we have family and friends there and it was nice to get out of the sub zero temps.     I would have to say our favorite event was the AZ Fall Classics.   A D1 from CA saw him there and kept in touch, until he committed elsewhere.  If I had to go back we would probably only go to college camps of schools we are interested in or to events that have many colleges at them.   Coming from a part of the country that doesn’t have a lot of access to baseball training and events, we learned a lot from the coaches  and other parents at the events.    We also got some input from coaches on what level they projected him to play.   We only have HS and Legion ball here. A lot of events are also in the winter when our son is in basketball.    If you live where there are more chances to be “seen” it should save you some money!
