the gen1X seems to be the big problem bat of the last year or so. My son's team has used them almost exclusively without a problem, but I hear they break and Louisville has finally been accepting exchange/return so long as you have a receipt.

Couple of years ago, returned a Louisville with no problem. Again, gotta have receipt.

Only through word of mouth, I hear Easton is a little more cooperative or at least faster on the returns.

And your are right, a metal bat should certainly last a season, at least until the same model with different graphics comes out
