Reply to "bat speed"

YoYo... one of the least expensive things I did for my son pertaining to bat speed was cutting a broom handle so its about 1 foot long, drill a hole in it and take twine that will go to the floor while holding the broomhandle at arms length. Tie a 5 lb weight and have him twist it up and down about 30x's a day.

In a nutshell... builds up forearms which helps increase bat speed. And the cost is almost nothing. You can buy the same thing for around $35.00

My son does this everyday and has MLB type bat speed.
