Bat SpeedChains

Has anyone used the Speedchains that are attached to the end of a baseball bat handle, and if so are they worth trying? I am always looking for something that would help my son develop more bat speed. Here is the link I am referring too. They are asking $134 for the chains, seems like alot so I wanted some feedback before I purchase. Thanks
