3 and 4 hitters should be guys with the most RBI's on the team and power. If your team is consistantly going down 1,2,3 at the start of the game then number 6 could or should be an RBI guy. Or if any of your 3 or 4 hitters are in a slump you could move them to 6 to get better pitches (the pitcher would have no idea that the 6 hitter is really the 3 or 4 hitter and pitch him like a so-so hitter)
