Be Wary of the Louisville Slugger/TPX Warranty Service

I, have now had my own bad experience with them. I have had several friends complain that TPX is very difficult to get a replacement bat from. I sent my bat in the other week, hoping to get a new one seeing as its dead, but all I got was the same one back. Inside, there was a letter that says, your receipt was invalid blah blah blah, because it was a paypal receipt. I bought it from an authorized sports dealer, and of course, why would he need to print one off the cash register, and put it in the box, if it's all computerized. So, he sent me the payapl receipt, names, phone numbers, addresses, date and time, price, all that good stuff, and when I sent my bat in they said, oh, we can't accept it because it could be a fraud. I then said to the guy, it's not on your website, so you should have accepted it. He then goes and checks, comes back and says, well, it's not specifically stated, but it sort of says that you have to have an original cash register type receipt from an actual store. Well, long story short, I chewed the guy out for not having a good policy, at least Easton says on their website, and you can look if you want to, something to the effect of "paypal and ebay transaction/receipts are invalid for warranty service due to fraudulent claims" I think that this might have ticked me off enough to not buy TPX bats anymore. Several of my friends have also spent 15bucks on wasted postage like I did, just to find the same bat in the box, but some of their letters said things like "your bat appeared to be cracked from negligence and abuse, when I saw it crack with my own two eyes at batting practice, and also, there was one with some wicked dents, and they said, it still measured 2 5/8 inches or whatever, even though it was quite deformed. Do you guys ever have trouble with these companies and their so called warranties? I apologize for the long winded parapraph, but that just ticks me off that they would do something like that.

P.S. I posted this where hopefully many people will see this and not waste money on postage and/or getting their hopes up when they will most likely get the same bat back in the mail, 2 weeks later.
