When oldest son was 10 in a Tournament. The first game he faced a kid throwing heat. I told him don't worry the harder he throws it the farther you can hit it. Well the next day he was the starting pitcher and throwing lobb ball? The coach asked me if he had a sore arm and I said NO I don't know what he's doing. The coach went to the mound and returned to me with a big smile. He told my son that it only applies when you are the batter not the pitcher. I think my kid is still shaking his head?????
