I'm so sorry to hear that DK recently went through the DFA process. Its can be so devastating! The hardest part is wondering what it all means...the sacrifice, hard work, and dedication invested over the years. So glad he stuck with it for now and is finding new hope in the bull pen. The twists and turns of a MLB career are crazy and you never know what opportunity is right around the corner. We know of many players that were placed back on the 40 man and eventually on the 25 either with their original club or another … especially pitchers.
When the season’s over he’ll have time to reflect on everything and be in a better position to make decisions. In the meantime, I pray that God will fill him with a sense of peace and purpose each day. PM if you want to talk. Everything is going to be fine.
