Thanks TxMom. He will be ok, it's not the end of the world. They actually placed him on the 40 man in November after his operation for protection from the rule 5. He was not the first to be removed or the last from this season, it's been a rough year for the cardinals. The bottom line is that he has to show improvement, and they were smart they knew that no one would pick him up, it is what it is, they rewarded him for a good 2010 season and he was struggling. Unlike other players that find reasons to get on the DL to prolong the process he didn't want the DL again. I heard that an AL team wanted to pick him up but their roster was full. Can't complain the cards have been good to him.
