It may be tiresome but it’s true. Way better baseball is played in the states you mentioned by name than anywhere in the Northeast. There is an occasional outlier and east coast media loves to jump on that bandwagon. UCONN has a few good wins but also has some not so good losses. Their schedule is better than most and they are obviously pretty good. What I said was that they were probably a bit over-rated at #22 and I stand by that. I’m pretty sure there are 25 teams that are better than UCONN. Just my opinion.
While that may be true in general, but at least in D3, the Wisconsin schools consistently field top 25 teams - year in and year out. UWW a few years ago was one of the most physically impressive teams I saw in 4 years of watching championship D3 ball. It's just baseball if you try to make a "generalization" as it will prove you wrong....which is the beauty of the game.
