AkBaseball20....

Not sure about the major or class size, but can vouch for the straight up coaching staffs, qualiity baseball, excellent education of the following coastal CA schools...Would send my player to any of these...

DI....

- Univ. of San Diego...Private, well reccomended, great coaches. Expensive, good education, perfect weather, winning program.

- Univ. CA Santa Barbara - Straight up coaches, one of the toughest DI conferences in the country, beachside school in one of the great coastal communities in America. Top education. Meitteranean weather. Large school.

- Univ. of San Francisco...Great coaches, good education...urban setting, facilities not top flight but easily made up for by quality coaches. expensive. weather more foggy. Small school, Should have been a DI regional qualifier.

- Cal Poly - Proverbial College town, new stadium, high end coaches, Great education at a reasonable price. Nice weather, Should have been a DI regional qualifier.

- Pepperdine - DI regional qualifier, Campus to die for, small school, expensive. Winning program.

- Long Beach - urban setting, One of toughest conferences in the nation, perennial regional NCAA qualifier, Great weather, good education, not top. Winning Program.

DII

- Univ. CA San Diego...Top education DII baseball in one of the top DII conferences in the country. Great weather. Great education at reasonable cost.

NAIA -

- Pt Loma Nazerene - Perennial winner, small school, good education, stadium overlooks the Pacific, can hit a home run into the ocean!

A little off the coast but nice weather and great baseball schools are quality DI's...Stanford, St Mary's, Fullerton and DII, Sonoma State.

Research all of these....and I beleive you'll find out good things...
