High Point has invested a ton of money into their facilities and programs over the last 10 years or so. They are really trying to develop the university into a well-respected regional private institution to compete with schools like Davidson, Furman, and maybe Wake Forest. The student base is growing, and they're drawing more and more from all around the country.
We went to a camp there last year, and I agree with assessment of the coaching staff. Very well organized and enjoyable camp.
Their current baseball field is really nice and already as good or better than most in their conference (Big South), but I just heard that they are moving into a brand new downtown stadium.
