Thank you to everyone who commented on this thread. The advice that this community has shared on this website as a whole has been invaluable during our process. As promised, wanted to come back with an update. (I have seen these threads in the past where I have wondered whatever happened to the recruit.) My son has gotten into his top (Canadian school) targets. He is going to base his decision mostly on academics and campus life (including the city in which each school is based), but he is also comparing his chances for early playing time. Thank you!
