My son played a game today where the opposing catcher spent the entire game talking to the batters, telling them to swing, etc including using Ozzie Guillen-type slurs to describe our players.
Umpire said nothing and when one of our batters complained, he just said Play Ball.
If we had more than nine on our bench today and could afford an ejection, I'd be tempted to knock him one his butt.
