The only time I ever talk to a batter is if they are trying to look at my signs, I tell him to stop cheating and look at the pitcher.

But I thought if someone is being annoying in baseball, you plunk him. If the catcher is annoying and it isn't a close game, you hit him (with a picth), and he learns his lesson about annoying everyone.
