Reply to "Catcher talking to batters"

Son doesn't talk to batters unless he knows them and then it's a "hello" or "how's it going". Nothing out of the way. He's never had to deal with a batter stealing a sign.

In LL there was a catcher that would talk to the batters. Sometimes he would say swing. Ump finally told him not to do that. That didn't stop him from chatting, though. Things like, "who's your sister?", "man, it's hot today.", or "I wish I had a hot dog. I'm hungry." All this while the pitcher was about to deliver the ball. He was well liked.
