There is a big difference between staying on your toes and being on your heels. I thing we both agree balance is the answer.

My question is simple. Balance comes from weight distributed over the balls of your feet. The heels may or may not actually be on the ground. May even look like they are on the ground when in fact they aren't because the balls of the feet are where the weight is centered. Why then stress heels on the ground?

It's a distraction to what is actually happening. Talk about balance and a solid base. The heels will do whatever they have to for this balance to take place. And even though the heel of the shoe may look like its on the ground, is it really when the weight is over the balls of the feet?
