Lots of great places to eat. If you have questions, please feel free to pm me? My son just finished first year at The Citadel so I have become very familiar with Charleston and surrounding area. Downtown is a great experience for all ages. Also the Riverdogs games are a great fun time. Easy beach access and a great beach. Have a great time. Visiting The Citadel is a great experience for anyone who has never been. It is a unique college experience.
