Reply to "Charleston Southern beats Florida Gators 6-3"

I saw Thornburg pitch in the Cape last summer. He looked like a high velocity, high effort kid. The night I saw him, it was dusk, without lights and he was 97 for an inning.
But, I would bet some GM's are cringing when they see these numbers, especially if they continue for the rest of the season.
I sure hope the Florida pitcher is okay.
This thread and the contrast in the result for each pitcher, for me at least, illustrates how much luck still plays a role, even for those with the best of talent.
