I went to Lane Tech and graduated last year. The sophomore team is sophomores and anyone younger. Freshman can play up but they have to have enough talent. I don't get why they would cut the sophomore team though. It would make more sense if the freshman team were to get cut. That's too bad though. I'll probably talk to my high school coach and see what they are trying to do about it. It is unfortunate for those soph who are talented but have a better varsity player ahead of them. Questionable timing as well.
