You're so right to call this to others' attention. Recruiters tend to know who's recruiting whom; and, once a player in whom they have an interest commits, word can get around pretty fast.

Meanwhile, it's not unusual for recruiters who can't be in two places at one time to call a friend who is a peer and ask that he be on the lookout for a particular player; especially when they think that their friend won't have a need/interest in that player. As a result, don't ever think that a particular school isn't represented just because they don't have someone physically present on that particular day.

Many of these guys have played together and competed against one another at a variety of levels for years; and that shared experience creates a community that can be pretty close and strong. It should come as no surprise that the network that shared experience engenders is pretty strong. This applies to many of the scouts, as well.
