This particular D1 program, its coaches, are said to honest and trustworthy. They did indicate he shouldn't rush into committing. He didn't rush, he was careful, he spoke to many people, the feedback was good, so he made the decision. Not there as offered, possibly never in contact again. After hearing such positive things about the coaches and program, definitely feel there is a learning curve and, it's not pretty.
