College vs Pro

I noticed there were 17 players in the first 5 rounds of this years draft that opted to go to college vs. signing with their pro team.

Assuming none these players were on a full ride I was wondering if it is common for a college to increase the scholarship offers to a player to entice a player to forgo the draft?
