Don't feel bad everyone here is a hitting coach,just ask them.Anyways imo he needs to learn a better lower load.go spend 16 bucks on the science of hitting.dig his right foot in keeping the weight on the inside part of his right foot.You dont want to loose the right foot by swaying like amateurs do in golf.This is huge,Pick the the left knee straight up and while moving forward turn it back toward the catcher.Dont open the knee when going forward turn the knee back to the catcher.If you do this corectly you will feel the right foot wanting to turn in its shoe toward the catcher,THATS why you dig in so you dont lose the load.If you do that correctly you are 1/2 way there.Next make sure that bat knob faces the catcher.
