Kenny Frank tossed a complete-game, two-hitter to get the win and added two hits, two RBIs and two runs scored offensively for King George (8–4).

Caroline’s record is now 4–7.

CHANCELLOR 13, JAMES MONROE 3

Matt Morgan and Jon Olsberg both hit run-scoring triples for Chancellor as the Chargers’ bats got hot in the fifth and sixth inning, sending them to a big lead over James Monroe.

Morgan and Mason Riser both drove in a pair of runs for Chancellor (6–5), which visits Caroline on Thursday.

Hunter Stephens drove in a run for the Yellow Jackets.

Courtland 7 Spotsy 8 

Max Harper sent the game into extra innings by dashing home on a seventh-inning throwing error, then drove in the game-winning run in the bottom of the eighth by drawing a bases-loaded walk, carrying the Spotsylvania baseball team to an 8–7 comeback victory over Courtland on Tuesday night.

Austin Castle and Eugene Snyder both drove in runs in the Knights’ seventh-inning rally, after Dante Fairchild rapped a triple to lead off the inning.

Caleb Stowe picked up a pair of hits for Spotsylvania (6–5), which visits James Monroe on Thursday.
