I agree totally, unforutunetly the conference/regionals are based on a AD vote as far as format goes etc. It used to be reg. season champ automatic bid to Regionals, so yep there is no reward really for your record right now, why it really is frustrating this year, especially when havent been to regionals with the new regime. I just am struck at why AD's would want the bracket in regionals this way? I mean, just seems it was the easiest decision at the time. Even crazier, FHS joins a new conference next year, as VHSL has adopted restructuring again for 2015-2017. 4A switches from N/S to E/W. FHS will be in the West, Conf. 22 ( John Champe, Kettle Run, FHS, Liberty, and Freedom) Currently 4A N has 28 teams in it, next year 4A West will comprise of the same.
