Mike played in the same travel organizaition as my son for a year or two. Every one who coached him knew he was special at 15 years old.

I was watching one of his games when he was 16 as he scored from first on a hit into the gap. After the game the 3rd base coach was talking about that play and how as he was watching the ball to see if he should wave Trout home. By the time he looked down for him he was already past 3rd base down the line for home. His speed is off the charts.

Angels fans should have fun watching him play for the next 10-15 years.
