Top Tier defeats A. Green Baseball to advance to the Connie Mack World Series in Farmington, NM. John Flannigan goes the distance for a 3-2 win.

I do believe that this is the first Illinois team to advance to the World Series but I could be mistaken.

Congratualtions to all the players and coaches. What an accomplishment!
