Another idea you may consider:

My initial contact to schools comes via email, with a link to my kids website. Get yourself a website where you can post stats, record, schedule, summerball team schedule, etc...you can even put video clips of you on it. I have had great luck with it so far. I have a senior daughter that is a pitcher (fastpitch softball) and she is being recruited fairly heavily and I have already started the process with my son. It's not as expensive as you would think. You can use free sites and build it yourself or have a freelancer do it for you for a small fee.
