Reply to "Courtesy runner for catcher?"

I absolutely hate the rule as it prevents most catchers from developing the baserunning skills they will need at the next level. Almost all TX HS coaches I've seen ALWAYS "courtesy run" for their catchers and I know of a few catchers whose skills actually eroded during their HS careers.
