Damage done - Hitting Instructors

I'm going to be very busy these next few months with coaching basketball and so I'd like to mention something for all to think about. What I'd like for you to think on is that positions presented on this site via any number of posters including myself are the result of what we've been exposed to. However, don't forget that, in the end, a child for most of us will either be the beneficiary or victim of what we teach. Regardless of what theory you believe, I'd ask all of you to do the research before you buy into any of these philosophies. I've done mine and am very satified and the results are very good. You do yours and I'm wishing all the best in doing what they can to help kids. I've just met with a young man that feels like he has been destroyed because he's at an institution that wants to totally change him. I'm not involved with this young man but am very concerned because I believe he mentally can't handle this change. Of course he is not my player and so, I have limits as to what I can do for him. It is a huge responsibility for all of us when kids are involved.

"Failure depends upon people who say I can't."  - my dad's quote July 1st, 2021.  CoachB25 = Cannonball for other sites.
