9U or HS JV ? ..................No question I'd take JV..........when I left anything u14-15 behind it was for good.......

Isn't JV full of 14/15u?

Depends a little on where you are and how many levels of HS baseball the local schools have.

Most Frosh would not be 14 by the time baseball season rolls around.  So, that's out.  After that, it depends a little on where you are and how many levels of HS baseball the local schools have.

Here, there's Frosh, Soph, JV and V.  The Frosh, Soph, and V play a full schedule.  The JV plays a partial schedule (mostly the second game of non-conference DHs).  Most of the JV players would be JR and SR -- so 16-17 yrs old (about).

That makes sense....in GA I guess it's a little different.  Anyone born between 5/1 - 8/31 is a 14u Freshman.  My son's JV team had 5 of them. At his school there is only JV and V, Varsity is reserved for Seniors and then Juniors and Sophomores sprinkled in based on skill level.
