I do think the parents should teach the kid that a man's word means something. In this case, the coach flat out lied. Parents have plenty of evidence of such. Are we telling parents give us $X,000 for two months of baseball but don't ask us for anything, don't expect any accoutability, just sit in the stands and worship us as the almighty summer league coach.
