Jake, my son is a 2010 who is a big boy but on the light side, too. We started sending out information to schools in the early summer, and we heard back from only a few DIIIs. Recently, however, my son has started hearing from many of the DIII schools that we contacted in June, so I am assuming that, like infielddad said, they are really starting to ramp up their efforts now. Good Luck to your son with the weight gain; easier said than done!
