some colleges may give out bad information on player hoping to get all the other colleges to back off.

Good example a pitcher was beign heavily scouted by colleges, college 1 really wants him tells a few colleges he had verballed to me. He had not. everyone backs off now. The player found out, naturally not a happy campier with college 1. Signs with another college, get drafted and signs.

No brainer they are competition why are they gonna give you accurate info on recruited players
