One player gf's showed up, he pitched the next day giving up 9 runs and getting no outs and quit the next day claiming he missed his gf. She lived 5 miles away from where he lived too
Funny thing was alot of players who had GF's supposely back home, during summer ball were cheating on them left and right, but got real upset when their GF's did the same.
Ball players are weird about GF's , they are jealous of other players are with attractive GF's or if the girl is not a looker they make fun of the player.
A GF can be a positve thing on a ball player. Every ball player likes having people come and watch them play. And if your GF will sit through a game in 100 degree heat, you have a keeper or she ran out of money to shop that day
