Reply to "elbow injury: what to disclose"

My 2 cents... honesty is the best policy.  For a lot of reasons.

There is a very strong chance that the coaches already know or will find out from somebody very soon.  Do you want them to find out from you or from someone else?

Remember that everybody talks to everybody.  All it takes it your son mentioning elbow issues to a friend, who mentions it to a coach doing lessons who then mentions it to his buddy that happens to be the recruiting coordinator at your sons school.

Lots of good examples of how small this world of recruiting is on this recent thread... http://community.hsbaseballweb...s-watching-a-reprise

You may also consider the thought that the coaches have probably gone through arm issues with players and may be valuable resources with regard to your issues.  Might be able to put him in touch with specialists, trainers, rehab programs, etc.

Good luck.
