Runner on first and third.
Pitcher stretches, and goes to set position.
He steps off rubber, and fakes a throw to first, and then whirls and throws to third.
Can a pitcher fake/feign a throw to first?
Does it matter if he steps off the rubber or not?
Does cocking the arm back, but not faking a throw constitute a "fake/feign"?
This seems to be a confusing point quite often.
