I've always scored it FC. I've seen it many times - short fly ball, unreachable, R1 can't get very close to 2nd base for fear of being doubled up, and gets forced out at 2nd from shallow outfield.

Not totally fair to the batter, but it is FC.

Hey - baseball is often not "fair." Like al ot of theings in life. Deal with it.
