Tell me if this is logical thinking on the subject of recruiting:

D1 - powerhouse programs have their verbals in by now and the roster will be complete after the early signing period.

Smaller D1 programs have made a lot of offers and have verbal commitments but they may still have an opening for the right player in the Spring.

D2 and D3 - waiting to see who is still available after the signing period then they go after recruits.

Qustion - For players who don't sign this fall - is the chance of D1 very remote and should they concentrate more on D2/D3/ and JUCO? I don't know the answer and I am sure there are exceptions to every "rule". What do you think?
