There are definitely players on there who won't be recruited.
But, the idea is democratization of the recruiting/scouting process. Unless it's up there as a joke, I want everyone to know they got a shot at being seen. I'm not going to judge whether they're good or not, unless they ask for help (which some of those tweets are doing). Schools/Scouts/crowd will tell them if they have a shot. Part of the issue is gatekeepers preventing players from being seen...I want everyone to have their opportunity...then they know they gave it a shot, and weren't good enough. Also a large part of FlatGround is to give players w/o access to training/coaching a shot at getting free advice...we have major leaguers and top tier coaches like Eric Cressey chiming in all of the time to help players--it's more than just showcasing, it's about tearing down financial and geographic boundaries to get access to quality advice as well.

So there's a ton of talent out that falls through the cracks and needs to be seen.
The concept has worked far beyond my expectations, and we're making a difference.
