Is the wait for an MRI due to insurance? You can probably schedule one out of pocket right away. They range from $300-500.

Have you looked into a baseball PT? The Florida Baseball Armory in Lakeland is really good at fixing arm pain/mechanics before it becomes more serious. No idea how much they charge for that type of stuff though.
