It's true that the boys should do the talking with their coaches about game stuff, but in our experience, the travel coach wanted to talk to parents about college recruiting. After all, you are the one who will be paying for it. Then the boy did all his own talking with colleges. Have you asked the coach? You can frame it as you are new to it all, and want basic information.
